selection of works I made during a residency in the Townhouse Gallery Cairo. One of these projects was Seven Questions, in which I asked participants to create a clay portrait of me and to complete a questionnaire about how they perceived me.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow is a collection of images of people whom I feel resemble me. I gathered these images from newspapers, magazines, and books, and display them on a wall arranged as a life line, from young to old.

For this project, I created portraits of myself made by others — from forensic reconstructions to hand readings — searching not only for visible likenesses, but also for more intangible forms of self-representation.

Between 2006 and 2008 I was an artist in residence at the Townhouse Gallery in Cairo. Soft Steel Bumpers is a selection of texts that I published during that period.

Shenzhen inside Voor de tentoonstelling Social City op de Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture maakte ik in 2015 getekende ‘Zachte Atlas’ kaarten van de huizen van vier inwoners van Shenzhen.
