‘Cairo’ Seven Questions

selection of works I made during a residency in the Townhouse Gallery Cairo. One of these projects was Seven Questions, in which I asked participants to create a clay portrait of me and to complete a questionnaire about how they perceived me.

Somewhere over the rainbow

Somewhere Over the Rainbow is a collection of images of people whom I feel resemble me. I gathered these images from newspapers, magazines, and books, and display them on a wall arranged as a life line, from young to old.

The Self-Collector

For this project, I created portraits of myself made by others — from forensic reconstructions to hand readings — searching not only for visible likenesses, but also for more intangible forms of self-representation.

‘Cairo’ Soft steel bumpers
