Seven Questions
Between 2006 and 2008 I worked during several periods as an artist in residence at the Townhouse Gallery in Cairo. In addition to making drawings based on walks through the city, I organized various workshops with young artists from the neighborhood. One of these projects was Seven Questions, in which I asked participants to create a clay portrait of me and to complete a questionnaire about how they perceived me.
Alongside these activities, I kept an online blog with texts, photographs, and drawings from my walks through Cairo.
