Diario de Observaciones at the Biblioteca Nacional de Colombia
From June 4–27, 2026, the National Library of Colombia opens Diary of Observations: a collective drawing room inspired by the nineteenth-century Chorographic Commission and the hand-drawn soft atlases of Dutch artist Jan Rothuizen.
Visitors are invited to draw their own maps, cities, favorite places, streets, memories, and hang them on the walls of the exhibition.
How do we represent the places we live in? Who gets to tell the story of a country?
Everyone can participate. Sit down, draw, sign your work, and become part of the exhibition.
