Ik had een fantastisch atelier op Broadway maar voelde altijd een enorme behoefte om weer naar buiten te gaan. Buiten zag, dacht en voelde ik zoveel meer. Op mijn omzwervingen door de stad ben ik foto\u2019s, notities, gedichtjes en kleine tekeningetjes gaan maken. Die heb ik vervolgens samengebracht in een boek\u00a0On a Clear Day You Can See Forever. Het boek lijkt op een persoonlijk handgeschreven dagboek, de getypte tekst lijkt handgeschreven doordat ik alle letters heb overgetrokken met overtrekpapier. Ook maakte ik destijds een kaart van alle straten in New York waar ik gelopen had.
